Each of our clinics are designed to build self-esteem while promoting self-confidence and leadership while teaching the sports of basketball and soccer. Our programs encourage children to participate in activities that will help them grow socially and physically while interacting with other children and making new friends!!! Our clinic programs are held in the back gym of the Swan Valley High School located at 8400 Ohern Rd. Saginaw MI 48609

 

 

Thomas Township offers a soccer clinic and a basketball clinic.  They are for boys and girls ages 4-8 years old. Kids will learn passing skills, dribbling skills, shooting skills, defensive skills and agility skills.  Our clinics are taught by high school sports players hired through the Parks and Recreation Department. These programs run during the winter and spring months on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm depending on age group. 

Kids are split into two age groups to help our instructors teach better.  9 AM group is for ages 4- 5 years old, and the 10:30 AM group is for ages 6 – 8 years old. At the beginning of each day, kids will be split into 5 groups and will rotate throughout the stations set up in the gym. Each station will consist of approximately 10 minutes of instruction and skills.
