Program information: We offer F.U.N. evenings on Tuesdays, Grown-Up Visit and Games on Wednesdays, Little Acorns Preschool Group on Thursdays, and Family Fun Days on the first Saturday of the month (usually). There is no cost to participate, as we have a grant through Hemlock Semiconductor that covers most of our expenses. See the information below for more specifics pertaining to each program.
F.U.N. Families United in Nature): Tuesday evenings 5-7 pm. Each program consists of six or so stations based on a theme. There are science/STEM activities, a craft or two, a coloring station, and a snack. Families go through the activities and participate where they’d like.
Grown-up Visit and Game Days: Wednesdays from 12-2 pm (except the first Wednesday of the month from September-May, when the senior citizen luncheon is held). Adults of any age can come in, visit, play games, read, hike, have a snack and a cup of coffee, and enjoy the experience with other adults.
Little Acorns Preschool Group: Thursdays from 1-2 pm. Preschoolers and their caregivers have some free play time, listen to a story, do a craft or activity based on a theme, take a little hike, and have a snack.
Family Fun Days: usually the first Saturday of the month from 10-2 pm. Family Fun Days are similar to F.U.N. nights. There are six or so stations based on a theme. There are science/STEM activities, a craft or two, a coloring station, and a snack. Families go through the activities and participate where they’d like. All are welcome.
