Thomas Township Departments and Services: 

Community DevelopmentThe Community Development Department consists of several large Departments under one umbrella.  The Community Development Department includes the Assessing, Building, Planning and Zoning Departments.	Fire DepartmentThe Thomas Township Fire Department is made up of residents of Thomas Township. The department is led by a full-time Chief and has approximately 30 members responding from two fire stations in the township.  The FD also has a full-time Fire Inspector / Fire Prevention Officer.	Police DepartmentThe Thomas Township Police Department is a full-time department that offers around-the-clock police protection in addition to other services for the residents of Thomas Township.

Our community has developed a truly unique program philosophy- we maintain the highest standards of coaching and sportsmanship, while kids play in a distinctive non-competitive environment.	Public WorksPublic Works operates and maintains the community drinking water system, sewage pumping stations, Owen’s Cemetery, and maintains buildings and facilities located Township wide.
Finance DepartmentThe Thomas Township Finance Department handles various financial transactions including water/sewer billing, receipt of all township monies and tax payments.	PassportsThomas Township can now accept your passport applications Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment only.	Township ClerkThe Clerk’s Office is responsible for the administration of elections, voter registration, township records, and participation in township meetings.
