A. Emergencies – Dial 9-1-1

In case of an emergency (harm to person or property), when police assistance is required IMMEDIATELY, dial 911, wait for the operator and relate the following information:

• WHERE – the problem is (location).
• WHAT – the problem is.  Are weapons or vehicles involved?  If so, state the type of weapon and description of the vehicle.
• WHO – is involved (number of persons and their descriptions).
• WHEN – the problem occurred or is occurring.

The operator will guide you through the questions.  Try to remain calm.
